Chapter 813: Chu Siblings Joins Tyler

9 min read

"What kind of big shot did you meet?"Chu Kang’s eyes widened as he listened to Chu Yang’s explanation. The more he heard, the more astonished he became. The mysterious Young Master Tyler had not only booked an entire brothel and, according to the rumors, nearly the whole of Pink Street, but had done all of it merely to lure Chu Yang out of hiding.

That alone was enough to make Chu Kang take this mysterious Young Master seriously.

What shocked him even more was that Chu Yang’s ancient sword seemed to recognize Tyler’s ability and background as extraordinary. Yet compared to the sword itself, Chu Kang and Chu Yin were far more interested in one thing— the fact that Chu Yang had actually been willing to give up his life and his most precious treasure as compensation for killing their father.

The two siblings had never been greedy.

When they heard that Chu Yang had been prepared to die in order to repay the debt, both of them had been moved to tears. To them, the ancient sword was certainly precious, but their relationship with Chu Yang was worth far more than any treasure.

Then Chu Yin suddenly smiled.

"You went to a brothel?"

Her voice was gentle. Too gentle. But Chu Yang’s entire body stiffened.

"L-Little Yin, listen to me! Nothing happened!"

He began stammering as cold sweat appeared on his forehead.

"Hehe..."

Chu Yin gave an innocent laugh. "I believe you, Brother Yang."

"Then could you please lower the sword currently pointed at my..." Chu Yang glanced downward. "...lower region?"

Chu Yin finally realized where she was pointing her sword. Her face immediately became red. She quickly withdrew the blade.

Chu Kang silently walked over and patted Chu Yang on the shoulder.

"My condolences."

Chu Yang gave him a bitter look.

"You aren’t helping and mind you, that’s your sister."

Chu Kang shrugged.

"What can I do? My sister is terrifying when she’s angry."

Chu Yin glared at him.

"You want to say that again?"

"No."

Chu Kang immediately looked away.

After the brief commotion settled down, Chu Yang’s expression became serious.

"Regardless, I already owe Young Master Tyler too much. If possible, I would like to work for him."

Chu Kang nodded thoughtfully.

"That Young Master really does seem to be a major figure. Perhaps you could offer him your ancient sword."

Chu Yang shook his head.

"I don’t think he cares about it."

The moment he said those words, the ancient sword hanging at his waist suddenly vibrated.

Buzz...

Chu Yang looked down.

"Hmm?"

The sword vibrated again.

"Sorry," Chu Yang said with a smile. "I think the sword really likes staying with me."

"That’s right," the ancient sword immediately replied.

Chu Yin looked at the sword suspiciously.

"Why does your voice sound like you’re about to cry?"

The sword became silent for a moment.

Then it replied in a solemn tone, "Those are tears of joy."

In reality, the ancient sword’s thoughts were completely different.

Ah... I don’t mind staying with Young Master Tyler either.

The treatment there was incredible.

He gave me rare materials, restored my body, and even helped me recover abilities I thought I would never use again.

For the sword, if it were a young girl, It’s like having a sugar daddy.

But staying with Chu Yang isn’t bad either. At least I can remain with the person who accompanied might be descendant of my former master.

The sword naturally did not say any of that aloud.

After all, what Chu Yang had said was not wrong.

It truly did not want to leave him.

Chu Yang looked toward the distant city.

"Fortunately, my sword can change its size now. We should be able to enter Moon Hawk City openly. The guards mainly focus on people trying to leave the city, and they won’t pay much attention to us entering."

Chu Kang’s eyes brightened.

"Then we can enter without revealing our identities?"

"Most likely."

Chu Yang nodded.

"We’ll have to be careful, but it’s better than wandering outside."

Chu Yin thought for a moment before looking at her two brothers.

"Then let’s meet this Young Master Tyler."

She smiled faintly.

"We have nowhere else to go anyway. If he really is as powerful as you say, perhaps we can join him."

Chu Kang nodded.

"That sounds reasonable."

Chu Yang smiled.

"Then it’s settled."

The three of them began walking toward Moon Hawk City.

None of them knew what kind of future awaited them there.

They only knew that the road ahead was filled with uncertainty.

Yet for the first time since their father’s death, they were walking together without carrying the burden of revenge between them.

As they disappeared into the distance, the ancient sword hanging from Chu Yang’s waist gave a faint buzz.

Perhaps even it was looking forward to meeting Tyler again.

The procedure for purchasing the entire Pink Street was far more troublesome than Tyler had expected.

At first, even the Heaven Mist Pavilion had been caught off guard. They had originally assumed that Tyler was merely interested in purchasing a small portion of the street. No one had imagined that someone would actually be willing to buy the entire district in one transaction—and pay the full price without asking for a discount or delaying the payment.

After receiving the news, the Heaven Mist Pavilion immediately sent a message to their main sect in the Western Continent.

Naturally, such a massive transaction could not be completed casually.

Contracts had to be prepared, ownership had to be transferred, various formations and property records had to be inspected, and countless procedures had to be completed. Several high-ranking cultivators from the Heaven Mist Pavilion even arrived personally to oversee the transaction.

As a result, Suzuka became extremely busy.

Day after day, she was buried beneath contracts and documents.

By the time everything was finally settled, more than a month had already passed since Chu Yang and the ancient sword had left Moon Hawk City.

During this period, Tyler had not been idle either.

Inside the Mini Grotto Heaven belonging to the copied ancient sword, Tyler had begun constructing his own private residence. He simply called this place the Sword World.

At the center of the Sword World stood a magnificent palace surrounded by clouds. Tyler had remodeled the interior according to his preferences, creating several bedrooms, cultivation rooms, storage rooms, and other facilities. He had even brought many of the maids from his previous residence into the Sword World so they could continue serving him.

Of course, Tyler had not forgotten his experiments.

He constructed another laboratory inside the palace.

The new laboratory was far more advanced than his previous one, and countless rare materials were stored within it.

During these months, Tyler had been working on a new product.

This time, he was not merely making something for entertainment.

He believed that if his calculations were correct, this product could shake the entire world.

At least, that was what he believed.

To accomplish it, Tyler had gathered numerous rare materials and arranged several high-level formation arrays. Even he had to admit that the amount of resources being consumed was somewhat frightening.

Fortunately, he had the Copper Pot.

Whenever a rare material was difficult to obtain, Tyler only needed a small amount to create more.

Thus, three months passed quietly.

One day, Tyler finally walked out of the Sword World.

The moment he appeared in his office, he found three people waiting for him.

Tyler raised an eyebrow.

"Chu Yang?"

Standing before him were Chu Yang and the two siblings, Chu Kang and Chu Yin.

After the initial greetings and introductions, Tyler learned the reason for their visit.

Chu Yang immediately expressed his desire to work under Tyler.

He even stated that he was willing to work without compensation and was prepared to lend Tyler his ancient sword if necessary.

Tyler stared at him for a moment before shaking his head.

"I don’t really mind you working for me, but I don’t have the habit of making people work for me for free."

Chu Yang was slightly stunned.

Tyler smiled.

"As for your sword, you can keep it. I have no intention of taking it from you."

The ancient sword hanging at Chu Yang’s waist gave a faint buzz.

For some reason, it sounded disappointed.

Tyler ignored it.

"There is something else I need to deal with first."

He turned toward the enormous windows of the White Dragon Tower.

"I am going to demolish the entire Pink Street."

The three siblings froze.

Tyler continued casually, "Then I’ll build a skyscraper here."

Silence.

Chu Kang’s mouth opened slightly.

Chu Yin stared at him.

Even Chu Yang’s ancient sword stopped buzzing.

Tyler turned around.

"Suzuka?"

Suzuka was standing behind him with several documents in her hands.

"The procedures have been completed," she replied calmly. "All that remains is for you to sign the final contract and pay the agreed price."

"Good."

Tyler nodded.

Then he looked toward the three Chu disciples.

"You three will be in charge of demolishing the entire Pink Street."

The three of them stared at him.

Tyler continued as though he had just assigned an ordinary task.

"The cultivators and mortals currently working here have already agreed to continue working under me. Make sure everyone has a place to stay while construction is underway."

Chu Yin slowly raised her hand.

Tyler looked at her.

"Yes, Miss Chu?"

"Where should we arrange accommodation for them?"

Tyler blinked.

"Hmm?"

He thought about it for a moment.

"Just buy one or two inns. If that isn’t enough, buy more."

Chu Yin’s eyes widened.

Tyler casually added, "If buying is inconvenient, rent them. Don’t worry about the spirit stones."

He pointed toward Suzuka.

"If I’m unavailable, ask her."

Suzuka nodded calmly.

"Understood."

The entire exchange was so casual that the three Chu disciples were left speechless.

For them, buying even a single inn would have been a major financial decision.

Tyler, however, was casually suggesting that they buy several inns as temporary accommodation.

And this was merely the beginning.

For the next week, the three Chu disciples remained completely dumbfounded.

They had originally thought they were coming to work under a wealthy Young Master.

Only after witnessing Tyler’s spending habits did they realize something.

This was not a wealthy Young Master.

This was a walking treasure vault with legs.

And now, he was planning to tear down an entire district and replace it with a skyscraper.

The three siblings suddenly wondered whether joining Tyler had been the correct decision.

The ancient sword, however, gave a faint buzz from Chu Yang’s waist.

It seemed to be saying that they had made an excellent choice.
