Synopsis

Yu Shigeru exists as an enigma, a suspected deity attempting to navigate the mundane requirements of school and employment. To fund his life, he takes a high-paying role as a demon hunter, though he views the dangerous work with a detachment that borders on the clinical. Beside him is a white-haired conjurer senior, a wealthy intellectual who manages a company and possesses a keen ability to perceive the truth. The central tension arises from Shigeru's lack of human emotion; the senior is plagued by the discovery that Shigeru's heart does not beat for him, a void caused by his fragmented godhood.
