Chapter 3006: 983_2

6 min read

The outcome was not surprising, since those Divine Kings did not cooperate with the Divine Realm consciousness as planned, and in the end, the Divine Realm’s offensive was blocked by the Abyss World. Despite the increased strength of the Divine Realm’s invasion this time, the Abyss World was stronger in terms of power and understanding of the Divine Realm than before. Thus, given the circumstances at the time, without those Divine Kings causing trouble, the Divine Realm’s attempt to conquer the Abyss World with their prepared offensive certainly failed. Zhou Tian was not at all surprised by this outcome at the time. Although the strength of the Divine Realm was indeed far stronger than the Abyss World, due to the multiple concerns of the Divine Realm consciousness and its lack of strong thinking capability, it had the ability to easily annex the Abyss World, but Zhou Tian was confident it would not easily achieve its goal.

And now, maybe the Abyss World will indeed be annexed by the Divine Realm, but at least Zhou Tian is certain of one thing: even if the Abyss World is eventually annexed by the Divine Realm, the Divine Realm cannot achieve its purpose with such simple tactics.

In fact, the invasion action of the Divine Realm at that time was indeed blocked by Zhou Tian using the power of the Abyss World. Unless something unexpected happened, it seemed that even if the Divine Realm consciousness was unhappy, its invasion of the Abyss World would not be an easy task.

However, although the invasion of the Divine Realm was blocked by the Abyss World at the time, this did not mean that the matter was ended. Zhou Tian was well aware that although those Divine Kings were intimidated at the moment, no one could guarantee what they would do in the future. If those Divine Kings eventually choose to help the Divine Realm consciousness, they would still pose a threat to Zhou Tian.

Unless Zhou Tian directly kills those Divine Kings now, they will always be a great threat to Zhou Tian and the Abyss World. However, it is obvious that given the situation at that time, even if the threat from those Divine Kings was great, Zhou Tian seemed unable to do anything about it.

At this moment, Zhou Tian could only hope that those Divine Kings were not quick to take action. Given the circumstances at the time, Zhou Tian had no methods against them at this point. So he could only try to resolve the Divine Realm invasion issue before they took any action. As long as the Divine Realm consciousness and those Divine Kings did not align, relying on Zhou Tian’s ability to protect himself seemed not as difficult as imagined.

The character of the Divine King was evident, and before Zhou Tian exposed a weakness, the Divine King saw no benefit in taking action. Given the situation at the time, as long as those Divine Kings didn’t act, Zhou Tian always had corresponding confidence in just blocking the Divine Realm’s invasion.

And Zhou Tian did not have to worry about the Divine Realm consciousness taking the initiative to communicate with those Divine Kings, as it did not possess strong thinking capability. It was unaware that communicating with those Divine Kings could solve the current problem, or even how to communicate with them. Thus, while an occurrence of the situation Zhou Tian feared would be a great threat, it seemed unlikely to appear under normal circumstances.

Of course, the threat of those Divine Kings was there, and even though they seemed harmless at the moment, Zhou Tian could not take any chances without preparation. Since Zhou Tian’s ability was insufficient to kill those Divine Kings, he was considering engaging them to reduce his risks.

However, though Zhou Tian had no means against those Divine Kings, it did not mean he did nothing. Due to his circumstances, Zhou Tian could not simply allow those Divine Kings and the Divine Realm consciousness to continue threatening him for his own safety.

Thus, forcing those Divine Kings away and driving back the Divine Realm consciousness became Zhou Tian’s only option at the time. Since he couldn’t deal with those Divine Kings, and they couldn’t leave the Abyss World, Zhou Tian began fully resolving the Divine Realm invasion problem while remaining vigilant. If he solved the Divine Realm invasion, the retreat of the Divine Realm consciousness would render those Divine Kings no threat to Zhou Tian.

However, although so far the Divine Realm consciousness’s attacks on the Abyss World have been blocked, it doesn’t signify the end. Failing once, another attempt follows. The Divine Realm invasion action faced some obstacles, but unless Zhou Tian demonstrated the strength to make the Divine Realm abandon its invasion intent, this situation would not end easily.

In Deity’s eyes, time is an expendable resource, and even more so for the Divine Realm. For the Divine Realm, achieving a purpose is worth any time, as it can accomplish other tasks simultaneously. Thus, while invading the Abyss World, the Divine Realm could undertake other actions, and unless major accidents occurred, maintaining a long-term war for thousands of years would not pressure it at all.

Although the Divine Realm was unpressured by its invasion of the Abyss World at that time, it had already prepared for long-term battle. But for Zhou Tian, the situation was extremely unfavorable. Without early preparations, his future predicament would worsen.

If events truly progressed in that direction, Zhou Tian could consider himself doomed.

Zhou Tian’s current safety wasn’t due to leniency from those Divine Kings or the Divine Realm consciousness. In reality, those enemies were ruthless against Zhou Tian. If Zhou Tian didn’t have some strength, his enemies’ performance would have already overwhelmed him.

Zhou Tian’s method against the Divine Kings was deterrence, frightening them with his strong performance. If not for the Divine Kings’ inability to leave the Abyss World, Zhou Tian’s war achievements would’ve likely scared them out of the Abyss World.

Conversely, Zhou Tian had no tactics against the Divine Realm besides fighting with all strength. Facing the Divine Realm’s invasion, Zhou Tian had some tactics, but even so, their effectiveness was limited given the circumstances.

Zhou Tian had no good resistance methods for the Divine Realm invasion, and regarding those Divine Kings, although it seemed Zhou Tian blocked them, in reality, his actions were effective due to their fear of being killed by Zhou Tian. The fear is temporary, and if time passes without Zhou Tian taking action, and those Divine Kings can’t leave, they are likely to act eventually.

Clearly, if those Divine Kings discovered something at the time, they wouldn’t be polite to Zhou Tian. Despite the various factors making them fear Zhou Tian’s achievements, their relationship with Zhou Tian wouldn’t change. Because of the significant threat from Zhou Tian’s achievements, if given a chance to clean up Zhou Tian, those Divine Kings couldn’t find any reason not to take action against him. (To be continued.
