Synopsis
Fate is a cruel script, and Fu Zhiyu discovered this only after his death. Realizing he was merely a disposable extra in a larger story, he spent his first life chasing a love that was never intended for him. Upon his rebirth, he rejects the pursuit of power and romance, choosing instead a path of spiritual detachment and laziness. He intends to avoid the central plot and the coldness of Xie Ke entirely, seeking a peaceful existence far from the spotlight. However, the world does not cooperate. Xie Ke, the man who once disregarded him, has also changed, now pursuing Fu Zhiyu with a paranoid and suffocating intensity.
