Aunt Tiger comes from "Biography of Tiger Wife" written by Huang Zhijun in the Qing Dynasty. There is a tiger spirit on the mountain who turns into an old woman, abducts children at night and devours them to wrap their stomachs. It is often used to coax children to fall asleep quickly.
