Afterword Hello, this is Sarasa Nagase. Thank you very much for picking up the last volume of I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss. The tale of Aileen, the demon king, and their merry friends is finally at an end. This isn’t exactly the conclusion of the main story, though. I wrote this volume specifically for print publication, with the intent of creating a movie version that takes place after the main story has ended. It’s a summation of the story thus far, and a tale that exists because of its predecessors. I tried to write a story that would leave you feeling glad you’d followed the series once you read it. I hope everyone who’s supported me this far will enjoy it all the way to the end. Once again, Mai Murasaki drew gorgeous illustrations for this volume. Thank you very much. Charles in particular was very cute; I thought it was a shame that this would be his only appearance. I’d also like to thank Anko Yuzu for drawing the splendid comic version; my past and present editors, who’ve guided me; and the designer, the proofreader, and all the other people who’ve helped me. This work was fortunate to be surrounded with wonderful people, including the readers who’ve been supporting it since its days as an online serial. Allow me take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved with the series from the bottom of my heart. Thank you very much. Most of all, I’m grateful to everyone who picked up this book.
